Random Thoughts
I'm glad I took 6 years of Spanish. I don't remember much except for all the stupid songs we sang. However, the head/shoulder/knees & toes song I learned finally came in handy today! I had to help Kid #1 learn them and thanks to that stupid song, he's got the body parts down.
Yo Gabba Gabba has transformed Kid #4 from being a normal 19 month old to being a break dancing fool. Thanks to the DVR, he's watched the same episode 10 times today and he's almost perfected that spin on your head breaking dancing move.
I also learned today that he's a lot smarter than I give him credit for. He talks all the time and most of the time we don't think he's saying anything. Um, wrong! I've deciphered him saying "NO! MORE GABBAS!" and "Bye Gabbas!" today alone.
Bribery doesn't work for potty training. Nothing does. Kid #3 poops or pees in her pants STILL at least once every other day. It's to the point where I just expect it now and when it doesn't happen I don't even notice.
March is for suckers. The high tomorrow is in the 20's again. I just want to be able to get out of the house with the kids within 5 minutes. All this winter jacket bullshit (TIMES 4) is cramping my schedule.
Makeup is fucking lame. I wear it to hide my blemishes, but wearing it gives me more. What a bullshit cycle! Obviously, men created makeup. Fucking pigs. I ordered some samples of good mineral makeup online and hopefully this will break the cycle. Otherwise, I'm destined to be fugly forever.
